Matthias has more than ten years’ valuation experience in the context of complex commercial disputes.
He has advised clients in several industries (energy, mining, telecommunications and construction) in disputes before public and private, national and international dispute resolution forums.
Types of cases on which Matthias has worked include:
- Expropriations of assets or investments
- Lost profits from early termination of contracts
- Transfer of shares at undervalue and unfair prejudice to shareholders
- Losses arising from breach of warranties and misrepresentation
Matthias holds a post-graduate degree in Finance (Master 225) from Paris Dauphine University. He is recognised in the Who’s Who Legal 2017 global list of Arbitration Experts as well as their “Quantum of Damages” and “accountant” listings of experts.
